My collaboration in an RGU-Led project for natural disaster (flood) resilient management in Spain

 

In May 2025, I visited the towns of Paiporta (Valencia) and Letur (Castilla La Mancha) with my colleagues from the Scott Sutherland School of Architecture (Douglas Pritchard and Daria Belkouri) as part of an international collaboration to help in the digitisation of the two cities towards understanding the catastrophe and assisting the community in rebuilding spaces in a resilient manner.

My latest participation at the Food Industry Innovation 2021 – Food, Nutrition & Health event, hosted by the Knowledge Transfer Network (ktn).

Keynote speakers Judy Buttriss from the British Nutrition Foundation and Prof Tim Foster from Campden BRI discussed trends in food science.

Five researchers also share their research on innovative food science, followed by two case studies on how science is put into practice on Alginates and obesity and Vitamin D.

The webinar finishes with an interactive session capturing the future sector needs for a vibrant emerging science community.
